Mystery Quilt Progress

A bit of progress was made on mystery quilt blocks last night while watching QuiltCam. I set up a sewing center on the dining room table and started with a bit of maintenance for Lucy (my 301 Singer).  We were both thirsty, so I made sure we had enough to drink - one beverage for me and one for Lucy!
Then I started cutting and sewing. I am really enjoying working with my fabrics, three of which are from "Le Bouquet Francais" line by Moda's French General. They have such lovely selvages, so I am cutting those off before I cut the pieces for my blocks.

I sewed several more blocks for step #1 of the mystery and am already getting excited for the release of step #2 on Friday!

You are doing better than me. I have 1 block finished. And some HST sewn that need to be squared up. 1 Step is the start of a journey though.

Such lovely fabrics! I am really enjoying seeing the blocks people are creating and the colours they have chosen.

Lovely fabric choices. I can't seem to make a decision so I am going to just follow along for now.

I love those fabrics!! I did the same last night, set myself up in front of quiltcam and went to town. Step 1 is finished, patiently waiting for Friday.

I heard her read your comment while I listened last night. Selvages are all cut off here too. I can't sew during QuiltCAM, I might miss something. I cut the rest of my Clue 1 and put them in sets of 10. Looking good there!

I heard your name on QuiltCam last night! I was too busy to write to Bonnie last night. I was working on bindings for a neighbors quilts she had me make for her family. Best wishes with the mystery!

Wonderful progress with the mystery. Your colors seem so delicate and lovely. Looking forward to seeing how they all come together over the weeks. I'm moving a little slowly, but I'm almost done cutting/sewing the HSTs. I never feel rushed with Bonnie's mystery....as long as I get a couple of the units done each week I figure I can "catch up" later....right?

Beautiful colours! I think I might have to start collecting some French General for a future Bonnie quilt. I'm using my mystery quilt pieces as leaders/enders until I get my Christmas sewing finished.

Looks like you've put quite a dent in step one. It's hard to wait for step 2.
